Rainbow Jackpots is a 2016 Red Tiger slot with an Irish leprechaun theme and a long list of random features. It runs on five reels with 20 paylines, and the leprechaun can drop in symbol swaps, extra free spins and a beer themed pick bonus. Despite the name, it has no progressive jackpot, and the top win is 1,054x. It suits casual players who like frequent small features over a single big bonus.
How does Rainbow Jackpots work?
The game uses a 5x3 grid with 20 paylines. Matching symbols pay from the left on each line. Wilds help form wins, and the leprechaun himself appears beside the reels to trigger features.
Red Tiger lists a hit frequency of about 16%, so roughly one spin in six pays. Much of the variety comes from random features that can land on any spin, which keeps the base game busier than a plain line slot. You do not need to do anything to trigger them; they appear on their own and resolve before the next spin.
What are the Rainbow Jackpots bonus features?
Three Free Spins symbols trigger the bonus. Three pots of gold appear, and you pick one to reveal how many free spins you get. A Mega Free Spins symbol, delivered from the leprechaun's pipe, can award a larger number of spins.
Symbol Swap places top paying symbols on the reels to create a guaranteed win, and Mega Symbol Swap lands large 3x3 top paying symbols for a bigger result.
Three Beer Bonus symbols start a pick game where you choose a mug, and a fuller glass means a bigger instant prize. The Triple Beer Bonus fills all three mugs and pays every prize.
Is Rainbow Jackpots worth playing? RTP and volatility explained
Red Tiger lists the RTP at 96.14%, which is around average. Red Tiger offers games at several RTP settings, so check the paytable at your casino.
Volatility ratings vary from medium to high depending on the source. The maximum win of 1,054x is low compared to many modern slots, so this is not a game for chasing big multipliers. It works best as a light, feature filled game for longer sessions.
Tips before you play Rainbow Jackpots
- Check the RTP in the game info, since casinos can choose different settings.
- Do not expect a progressive jackpot; the name refers to the theme and the pots of gold.
- The Megaways edition is a separate game with a much higher maximum win and different rules.
- Use the demo to see how often the random leprechaun features appear.
- Because the maximum win is capped near 1,000x, consider a stake that lets you enjoy a long session rather than a short high stakes one.
