9 Masks of Fire is a Gameburger Studios slot distributed by Games Global, built around glowing tribal masks. Its main hook is a scatter that pays more as you land more of it, up to nine on the screen. A free spins round with a 3x multiplier adds a second route to bigger wins. With medium volatility and simple rules, it suits players who want a balanced game without a complicated bonus.
How does 9 Masks of Fire work?
You spin five reels and three rows with 20 paylines. Regular symbols pay on lines from the left, and a wild substitutes for them.
The fire mask is a scatter that pays anywhere, and the more masks you land, the larger the payout. Three masks give a small return, four pay 5x the stake and five pay 15x. Landing all nine positions with masks pays the game's top prize. This makes the base game a little more lively than a plain line slot, since any spin with several masks can pay without lining up.
What are the 9 Masks of Fire bonus features?
Landing three or more of the free spins symbols starts the bonus. A wheel decides how many free spins you get, with up to 30 available, and all wins during the round carry a 3x multiplier.
The round can be retriggered for more spins. The mask scatter also pays during free spins, and with the multiplier applied, a screen of nine masks in the bonus is how the highest listed result is reached.
A separate HyperSpins edition exists, which lets you respin individual reels for a price. It has different figures, so make sure you are playing the version you expect.
Is 9 Masks of Fire worth playing? RTP and volatility explained
Most sources list the RTP at 96.24%, which is around average. Casinos can sometimes run alternative settings, so it is worth checking the game information.
Volatility is medium. The maximum win is described in two ways: 2,000x for nine masks in the base game, or 6,000x when the 3x free spins multiplier applies. Wins land fairly often, with one source quoting a hit rate close to 40%, so balances tend to move more gradually than on high volatility slots.
Tips before you play 9 Masks of Fire
- Check the RTP in the game rules at your casino.
- Do not confuse the original with the HyperSpins edition, which has different maximum win figures.
- Medium volatility makes this a reasonable choice for longer sessions on a smaller budget.
- Use the demo to see how often several masks land together.
- Keep in mind that the free spins count is set by a wheel, so the size of the bonus varies a lot from one trigger to the next.
