Free spins are the most common part of a welcome offer for players in Brazil. The number of spins matters less than the value per spin, the games they are valid on and the wagering on the winnings. The table compares casinos that accept players from Brazil.
Can you get free spins in Brazil?
Free spins handed out to attract or reward bettors count as a bonus or prior advantage, which Law 14.790/2023 does not allow at licensed operators. Offers of free spins aimed at players in Brazil usually come from sites that are not authorised by the SPA.
Winnings at authorised operators are taxed under the same law. Net prizes over the year, meaning total winnings minus total stakes across all authorised sites, are subject to 15% income tax on the part above the annual exemption threshold of the income tax table (28,467.20 BRL for 2025). Operators give you a yearly statement of your prizes to help with your return.
Slots at authorised sites must use games certified for the Brazilian market. Check the operator on the SPA list before you play.
How do free spins work for players in Brazil?
Free spins are credited on one or more selected slots, usually after the first deposit, sometimes spread over several days. Each spin has a fixed value, and the winnings are added as bonus money that must be wagered before you can withdraw them.
Online casino games are legal in Brazil only at operators authorised by the Secretaria de Prêmios e Apostas (SPA) of the Ministério da Fazenda, which must use a .bet.br domain; unauthorised sites are blocked.

What wagering means in BRL
With 35x wagering, a 100 BRL bonus means 100 x 35 = 3,500 BRL in bets before the bonus can be withdrawn. Slots usually count in full; table and live games often count less.
35x is the median wagering among the casinos on this page.
